Happy (belated) New Year
Sorry for the extreme lack of posting over the past couple of weeks. Honestly we’ve been busy, and posting seemed exhausting with everything else going on. Still, I have been keeping up with everyone.
Skip declared at breakfast Sunday morning that he felt like this was going to be our year. For a guy who isn’t overly optimistic, this declaration was huge. Can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store for us!
What didn’t get me excited this morning was my coworker (who I swear uses her Chinese heritage - as in she’s from China - to be overtly rude) telling me that I looked pretty big for only being 15 weeks pregnant. Was I sure I wasn’t having twins?! Yep I’m sure lady.
Sure I’ve been eating large quantities of not-so-healthy food lately (Jalapeno Tostidos anyone), but for the record I’ve still only gained about 3 lbs. So ha.
