Vacation of a Lifetime
Ok, that’s a lie. We are not taking a vacation of a lifetime, but we are taking a real life vacation. Skip and I are taking all next week off to do nothing. At home. Work has been insane for both of us, and frankly James’ 5:30 am wake up times are killing us.
We went back and forth about going to the beach, but frankly travel with a two year old is not much of a vacation to us....

Today my beloved husband turns 30. We met when he was 20 and I was 19. We have grown up together. He can make me laugh like no one else on the planet and is an expert at cheering me up even when I don’t want him to. He is funny and loyal and fair. He is a good friend. Weekend Update
Heading to Europe for a very short work trip. I’m currently sitting in a weird smelling seat at the airport wishing I was home with my boys.
I’ll be home Wednesday but still got teary upon pulling out of the driveway. This working mom thing sucks today.
