The heaviest 3 lbs ever
I had my latest doctor’s appointment yesterday and everything looked great. The baby’s heartrate was perfect (he’s already an overachiever ;-) and my vitals were good too. The thing that wasn’t so great was that I had - according to the doctor’s office anyway - gained 8 pounds in one month. That’s four weeks people. The baby weighs about 3 pounds right now,...
Crisis over
I know you’ve all been holding your breath over shower curtain-gate 09, but the crisis is officially over. Much to Skip’s dismay, I even got my mom to come over last night before dinner to give her opinion on the infamous shower curtain. She, of course, agreed with Skip that it looks fine and that my hormones are screwing with me. So turns out I may have overreacted just a little...
A little perspective...
The past couple of weeks have definitely been some of the easiest of pregnancy so far (knock on wood). Minor aches and pains only, I’m still mobile (for the most part), no nausea (thank the Lord that was relatively short lived). I’ve even slept fairly well the past few days (of course that’s relative).
But it seems that, in my pregnancy experience anyway, once one symptom...
Thank God her priorities are in order. →
I’m thinking about running the Boston Marathon or going on a really long overseas flight on my due date. Hey, I’m nothing if not an overachiever.
P.S.
I just realized that I already posted an entry about SGM a few days ago. This is a prime example of pregnancy brain in full effect. Seriously, it is a good site though. Don’t judge me.

This site says exactly what I’m thinking but can’t quite put into words (thanks pregnancy hormones). This woman (at least I think the author is a woman because this blog sounds exactly like what I would say) is a genius. I’m glad she’s focusing those gifts on all things Bravo. Thanks, SGM.
